On Saturday, May 29th and 30th, the 2021 Hoshin College Seminar will take place for members 65 years old and above, connecting GLA headquarters, branches, and individual’s homes (G.LIVE).
In the time of the unbelievable where conventional values and common sense no longer apply, in this seminar you will learn the wisdom to live brilliantly as a member of the Hoshin(senior) generation.
Over the two days, we have prepared a high density program to help each participant who is entering the maturity of life, to reflect deeply on the journeys they have taken so far, to look at the light and darkness that have appeared, and to walk along the Golden Path, a shining path towards the culmination of your life.
This year, the 34th Entrance Ceremony will also be held to welcome new students (for those who have not yet enrolled and will be 64 years old or above).
The 2021 Hoshin College Seminar will be broadcasted from GLA Yatsugatake-Inochi-no-Sato with no audience. Participants will be able to register to participate from GLA headquarters, branches or from their home (G.LIVE).
Please be assured that thorough infection prevention measures are in place at the GLA headquarters and branches.
We are sincerely looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
Features of the Aged-Based Seminars
At GLA, there are seminars for each generation to the solve problems that are specific to each generation and learn the wisdom to live a richer life. There is the Kakehashi seminar for children and their parents, the Seinenjuku Seminar for the youth generation, the Joint Seminar of Frontier College and Heart Nursing School for the working generation, and the Hoshin College Seminar for the senior generation.
We would like to introduce here the 4 features of the age-based seminars.
1 Meet Keiko Takahashi
Participants will be able to listen to a lecture by Keiko Takahashi and meet her.
2 Study with the worksheets made originally for the seminar
In order to study about and cultivate the necessary spiritual level and wisdoms, participants can work on the worksheets prepared for the seminar by Keiko Takahashi. It will guide you to deep discoveries.
3 Meet members in the same generation
You can openly discuss and learn from your peers about the themes and issues unique to your generation. Friendships that are invaluable are nurtured.
4 Facing yourself, away from everyday life
You can step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have time to look within yourself.

Retirement, the Rest of Life, Leisurely and Self-constrained Life –.
The image of the senior generation has changed through Sensei’s guidance. Now in the era of a 100-year life, in order to maintain the health of our body and mind and live our senior period of life brilliantly, we will develop the necessary spiritual level and wisdoms. In the seminar, there will also be an entrance ceremony to the highest school of life, Hoshin (senior) College.
